Scope

This Plan applies to all employees, contractors, supervisors, managers, and members of the public who interact with our company.

Accessible Customer Service

  • Provide AODA Customer Service Training to all staff.
  • Ensure service animals and support persons are welcomed on all premises.
  • Communicate in ways that consider the needs of persons with disabilities.
  • Post notices of service disruptions when necessary.

Information & Communication

  • Provide company documents in accessible formats upon request.
  • Offer communication supports when needed.
  • Ensure public website complies with WCAG 2.0 Level AA accessibility standards.

Employment Standards

  • Provide accommodations during recruitment, employment, and return-to-work.
  • Develop written Individual Accommodation Plans.
  • Modify performance evaluations and job training as needed.

Training

  • All employees will receive AODA and Human Rights Code training.
  • Refresher training will be completed every 2 years.
  • Training records will be maintained in HR files.

Accessible Built Environment

  • Ensure office spaces are accessible where applicable.
  • Collaborate with clients to accommodate guards with accessibility needs.

Feedback Process

Feedback may be submitted by phone, email, or in writing. Responses will be provided within 10 business days. Alternative formats will be made available upon request.

This Plan will be reviewed at least every 5 years and made available to the public. Alternate formats are available upon request.
